WARRANTY
New equipment will carry manufacturer's warranty. Selected used equipment will carry a Limited Warranty on parts and labor at Central Camera Company’s discretion. Limited Warranty covers defects in material or workmanship of the product under normal use during the Warranty Period and does not include exterior/physical condition of equipment. The Warranty Period for covered items will be indicated on the sales receipt.
Used equipment covered by Central Camera Company’s Limited Warranty is guaranteed to be in the condition described for fourteen (14) days or during the Warranty Period indicated on the receipt. Items covered by Limited Warranty may be returned for a refund or, when possible, repair or replacement at Central Camera Company’s discretion.
Central Camera Company's Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship; conditions, malfunctions, or damage resulting from negligence, improper maintenance, or modification; Damages incurred during shipping; damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or other actions or inactions that constitute a breach of this contract.

Your Rights Under State Law: This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Any implied warranties are limited in duration to the length of the Limited Warranty.
Merchandise is sold "as-is" and "with all faults" unless otherwise indicated. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of this merchandise is with the buyer. All warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. In no event shall central camera co. be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Items sold as-is are final sale, no warranty, no returns, with no guarantee of functionality.

Central Camera Company maintains a large inventory of all types of photographic equipment and supplies. Our website inventory represents only a fraction of that inventory. Please contact us if there's a specific product you're looking for.

All marked prices include a cash discount. Pay with cash and save!
Major credit cards are accepted for purchases. A credit card processing fee of 4% is applied to purchases.
Please note we do not accept transactions from, or deliver merchandise to, reshipper or freight forwarding services. Please do not waste our time or yours placing fraudulent transactions.
TAXES & FEES
All in-store sales are subject to Illinois State, Cook County, and City of Chicago sales taxes of 10.25% of purchase total. Mail orders and online purchases shipped to Illinois residents will include sales tax.
SHIPPING
We offer Free USPS Priority Shipping & Insurance on most items over $50 delivered within the 50 US States. Large and/or heavy items over 70 pounds may require additional shipping and handling fees. Priority overnight shipping is available for an additional charge that will be determined at checkout.
For credit card transactions, we only ship to the card holder's billing address.
For PayPal transactions, we only ship to Paypal registered and verified addresses. If you have an unverified address, we require verification of your full address with PayPal prior to shipment.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES, REFUNDS
Used equipment is guaranteed to be in the condition described. Items can be returned within fourteen (14) days for a refund or, when possible, repair or replacement.
Please inspect any packages on arrival and notify the carrier of any damages. All packaging should be retained until the package has been examined by the carrier.
No partial refunds or credits will be issued. No exceptions.
Non-returnable items include the following:
Consumable items such as but not limited to film, photo paper, CD, DVDs.
Orders with errors in spelling, punctuation or accuracy in the text provided by the customer.
Orders with user-customizable features such as enhancements, choice of finish (where offered), cropping, border selection, size (where available) and formatting.
Any merchandise built or modified by Central Camera Company to customer’s specifications.
Special order merchandise or any item indicated as non-returnable.
Custom built merchandise such as but not limited to frames, gallery mount, acrylic cut to order + Transportation costs such as but limited to shipping
RESTOCKING FEE
Returns for items without material defect for refund may be subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. Shipping, duties, brokerage, and/or insurance fees are non-refundable.
USED EQUIPMENT & GOODS
The Central Camera Company Rating Scale
New and used items for sale are given a rating based on the following scale. Merchandise is always in working condition, unless otherwise noted, and this scale refers to the to the cosmetic or physical condition of the merchandise listed. See individual item listings for specific notes.
NEW
100% Original new merchandise in its original packaging. Never used.
DEMO
100% Original new merchandise that has been used in our retail store as a demonstration model. Handled in our store but never sold. Usually comes with manufacturer's warranty and original packaging.
MINT
99.99-90% Merchandise has little to no wear. Item is practically new.
NEAR MINT
89-80% Merchandise has average wear. Item may have some very minor scratches, scuff marks and/or other signs of wear.
EXCELLENT
79-70% Merchandise has more than average signs of wear. Merchandise is obviously used and may have scratches, scuff marks and/or other signs of wear.
GOOD
69% and below Merchandise is well used and will have scratches, scuff marks, dings and other signs of wear and use. Fully functional although cosmetically challenged.
PHOTOFINISHING SERVICES
No refunds on film processing, cutting and sleeving. Blank film will be returned to customer.
In the event that scanning and printing services can't be rendered due to blank film, a credit will be issued to the customer in the form of a punch card for replacement photo finishing services equal in value to the prepaid services.
Photofinishing will be considered abandoned and disposed of if not picked up within 60 calendar days from time of initial processing.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers may cancel their order any time before the order is processed. Customer will receive a full refund if order is cancelled prior to processing. Order cannot be cancelled or modified after it has been processed.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
If our prints or scans were not to your expectations, Central Camera Company will gladly rescan or reprint your work.
Claims for reprints must be made 5 business days from date processing is received by customer.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY
Central Camera Company takes every precaution for the safekeeping and handling of such materials listed previously, but any damage or loss by Central Camera Company and its subsidiary or agents due to unpredictable defects in materials or even due to negligence or other fault of Central Camera Company and its subsidiary or agents will entitle the customer ONLY a replacement with the like unexposed film and processing, or in the care of mounting, another print, when possible, and only when initially produced by Central Camera Company. Except for such replacement, the acceptance by our company, subsidiary, and/or agents of the film, print, slide, negative, transparency or artwork is without other warranty or liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages is excluded.
The customer’s order constitutes an agreement when submitting materials such as print, film, digital files, negatives, transparencies or artwork for processing, printing, mounting, laminating, or other handling by Central Camera Company and any subsidiary or agents.
It is the customer's responsibility to appropriately insure it any materials submitted to Central Camera Company for photofinishing services.
Central Camera Company is not responsible for consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. Central Camera Company is responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.
Customer is responsible to proofread and correct any spelling or punctuation before submitting an order. Central Camera Company does not and will not proofread nor correct any such mistakes. Customer is also responsible to look over user-customizable features such as enhancements, choice of finish (where offered), cropping, border selection, size (where available) and formatting before submitting order.
